If you’re an enthusiastic and dedicated person willing to join us and contribute to the work we do in the community, we’d love to hear from you!
We regularly need office volunteers who can commit to one half or whole day each week. You could find yourself completing a range of tasks, including data entry, media monitoring, design, research, up-dating our website, assisting with events – or whatever else needs to be done that week.
We welcome tertiary students who wish to undertake work experience or an internship for academic credit. We accept interns via the Parliamentary Research Project, but you can also just contact us to see if we have any spaces available.
Experts in Tim’s portfolio areas, and constituents with local knowledge of issues in East Metro are also most welcome to volunteer their experience.
If you’re a regular user of Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter, let us know if you’d like to help us expand our social media reach – there’s no need to come into the office, you can do this work from your own phone or computer.
We also occasionally ask volunteers to help us with events door-knocking and street stalls to connect with the community on issues that we are working on. Let us know if any of that interests you and we’ll be in touch next time we need help with those things.
Note: We are a small office, so volunteer opportunities are limited, but we will do our best to get you involved.
